OVERVIEW | As the Social Media & Content Manager, you will be responsible for owning a cross channel social media strategy including: community engagement, content development and relationship building. You will use your understanding of Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube and their platform capabilities to create campaigns that engage, excite, and educate our community – that ultimately grows the overall business.  



  • Drive the strategy and execution of all ikoo social channels.
  • Create, post and execute ikoo content across all social channels that are engaging and on brand
  • Build an engaging brand presence on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube and more
  • Assist with trend forecasting and emerging platform strategies [ie: Club House + Industry Specific Platforms]
  • Measure, analyze and report on all social media initiatives, providing recaps to internal teams and partners on a weekly, monthly and special event basis
  • Collaborate and contribute with brand marketing, ecommerce and sales teams on projects to support the global business
  • Manage the Social Media & Content budget


  • Community management to foster a two-way conversation with users across social platforms
  • Proactively monitor social media channels for inquiries, customer service issues and questions; escalate to appropriate internal or external partners as necessary
  • Execute initiatives to expand brand’s digital presence + reach, including but not limited to partnerships, user generated content, leveraging influencers and sweepstakes



  • Assist with production and promotion of engaging content to coincide with product stories, marketing messages, seasonal initiatives and brand news
  • Develop a network of content creators [including ikoo stylists +salons and influencers] to create a robust pipeline of content
  • Serve as the editorial voice for the brand through content creation and the development of social media assets [photo, video + graphics]
  • Define and lead development of an international business toolbox of assets, brand guidelines and templates



  • 3-5 years of experience working on organic social media and content for a brand
  • Natural ability to cultivate strong consumer, brand, influencer and team relationships
  • Advance experience in defining the social consumer experience from intent to purchase across social mediums [including but not limited to Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, Club House etc.]
  • Experience with full content lifecycle from: ideation à creation à scheduling à measuring success
  • Skilled and passionate about content creation
  • Extremely confident creating and editing content as well as being on camera and managing the production of brand-specific social content. This includes experience spearheading social-first photo + video shoots
  • Genuine passion for all things trends, beauty, digital influencers/creators and pop culture.
  • Knowledge of the contemporary brands and market competitors
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Creative and innovative thinker with ability to multi-task
  • A positive team collaborator and a ‘do what it takes’ attitude
  • Desire to travel internationally
  • Fluent in English
  • Beauty experience preferred
  • Proficient in Mac, Microsoft Office [Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook); Experience with social media scheduling and analytics tools a plus
  • Creative Suite expertise preferred
